Success

Being successful is everyone’s basic goal in life. success can be defined in many different ways; some people’s definition of success can be having a good life with great people surrounding you while some people believe success is having a lot of money that has been earned rightly by their hard work. it’s one of the greatest achievements one can have but getting there is a long process that involves most of your life. well, I’ve gone through a lot of sites and researched and put together some tips which can help you get on the road to becoming successful

Some tips from Bill Gates:

(If you don’t know who Bill Gates is: He is one of the co-founders of Microsoft Corporation)

1. Start as early as you can: Bill Gates was thirteen years old when he started. When you are young, you look at things from a different perspective, and it's always better to start young because you have a lot of years to perfect what you do. It gives you time to adapt and adjust and get comfortable with what you do (not too comfortable because it’s always great to get out of your comfort zone)

2. Don’t cry about your failures, learn from them: mistakes are good to make because they teach you something. They help you alter what you're doing wrong. The faster you learn from mistakes, the closer you are. It’s okay if you fail, it’s not the end of the world. You can fail 1000 times but there will be that one time you succeed, it’s just a matter of time

Some tips from Steve Jobs

(If you don’t know who Steve Jobs is: He is the co-founder of Apple)

3. Do what you love: it might sound very cliché but if you are not happy with your job then you might never make the effort to improve at it. If you do what you love then you will find a way to be the best. Steve Jobs once said, “people with a passion can change the world.”

4. Put a dent in the universe: Steve Jobs believed in the power of vision. If you can dream it, you can do it. Envision the wildest thing and then achieve it. Pick the right opportunities and keep believing in the right things.

Some tips from Jeff Bezos:

(If you don’t know who Jeff Bezos is: he is the founder of Amazon)

5. Think about the long term: do things with the vision of something big, something you will achieve in the course of a long time. Jeff also said that you should limit yourself to three decisions a day. Thinking about the long term is very important because it helps you get a clear idea of the goals you have.

6. Follow your instinct: Many people told Jeff that he could never succeed but look at him now! He’s here with Amazon. In the end, it’s all about your instinct. It shows that you trust yourself. If your gut. Tells you to do something, do it. Who knows where you might end up. A little can go a long way.

Some tips from Jacqueline Mars

(If you don’t know who Jacqueline Mars is: She owns one-third of the chocolate company- Mars)

7. Don’t give up: what is the point of giving up? If you start doing something, finish it, you never know what the results end up being. You could end up owning the company ‘Mars.’ Big things can happen so keep pushing

8. Dream big: as they say- no dream is too small. Dream you as big as you can and chase after it. If you have a passion, a dream, and a vision, nothing is really impossible. It might take a lot of time but in the end, you will win.

Some tips from Elon Musk:

(If you don’t know who Elon Musk is: he is the founder of SpaceX)

9. Have a goal: if you don’t know what you want, how will you achieve it? A goal in a way gives you motivation because on days you feel like quitting, remember why you started and what you will end with. Remember what you are working for. A goal also gives you a clear picture of what you need to do.

10. Seek criticism: you need to go in with an open mind because you’re going to succeed on your first try, it will take time but if you receive criticism, accept it with an open mind because it is telling you how you can improve. Go out and seek criticism so you can improve faster and become better

Some tips from Sarah Blakely:

(If you don’t know who Sara Blakely: she is the founder of Spanx)

11. Overcome self-doubt: never think that you will not be able to do a certain thing. You can do whatever you put your mind to, you just have to work hard enough and have the right motivation and good intentions. The faster you overcome your self-doubt, the faster you will grow as a person

12. Don’t fear rejection: what’s the point of thinking you will get rejected, you won’t move from where you started and you will lose faith in what you’re doing and more importantly in yourself. Don’t be the only thing standing in your way because that will not get you anywhere. Accept rejection. Take it and work harder, better and smarter.
