Life Lessons pt 2 (The Unlearned)

So I decided to make another part because I really enjoyed writing the first one. These are lessons you will use in your life which you can find nowhere in the textbook, these will help you and guide you when you don't know what is right and what is wrong. School never teaches you these.. they kinda just leave you to figure it out on your own so here you go-

1. No matter what someone tells you, never give up on something you are good at

- I know this must confuse you, like why would someone leave something they are good at. Trust me. There are some people in this world who do something they are good at but their heart lies somewhere else

- All I’m saying is if you are quitting it, think at least five times before quitting

2. Never let anyone tell you who you are

- There are so many people out there who are influenced by the wrong things

- There are people out there who drop their entire personality to be someone else, someone they idolize but trust me you do not want to be someone else

- So if someone tells you to change do not listen to them, if they don’t like you for who they are, were they even worth it in the first place?

3. Think twice before speaking

- Trust me, I cannot even begin to stress how important this is

- Your words can build bridges or burn down forests

- So before you do anything think it through because it will end up not only hurting the person you spoke them to but it will also hurt you

4. Everything happens for a reason

- In this universe, there are no coincidences.

- Everything that happens will either teach you a lesson or you have to teach it a lesson

- Remember you cannot succeed without overcoming a few obstacles first

- Inhale love and exhale gratitude

5. Your family will always be there for you

- Friends will come and go but family will stay forever

- Some of the people you will always have in your life is family

- Appreciate them because they will always want the best for you no matter what happens

- Surround yourself with the love you deserve

6. Hard work is the key

- Without hard work the prize you acquire is useless

- You have to earn what you get. The chase is always more exciting than the finish

- Trust me, without hard work you will get nowhere in life

7. Not everyone is meant to stay in your life forever

- This is true. Sometimes people come in to teach you something

- You never know the last time you would have texted someone or spoken to someone

- Never hold grudges because you might cross paths again and who knows maybe this time they were meant to stay?

8. Practice makes perfect

- This holds true for everything. Without practicing you will never improve

- So remember you might not get something so practice it until you do

- Most importantly never give up because beautiful things can be born from misery
