Finding your Passion

Do you know what we call something that keeps you awake at night? Something that you will never stop doing no matter how bad times get? Something you use as an escape from the world? Well, let me answer that for you, it’s called your passion :)

A passion could be anything at all. It could be super unique or something super normal. There can millions of people who do what your passionate about but the difference is it may not be something that makes them happy but it brings you joy! I once read, ‘Find something you would die for and live for it.’ I couldn’t agree more. There are so many people who are lucky enough to find their passion at an early stage in their life and they pursue this for the rest of their life which is probably the best-case scenario but this takes away the whole adventure element of life. Then there are some people who are already through the beginning stages of life but still don’t know what they are super passionate about, they try their whole life to find something they want to pursue for the rest of their life. This is the whole point of life- find who you are, find what you love and who you love, and make the most of the life God has given you. If you still don’t know what your purpose in life, here is some advice to inspire you.

· Keep trying. No matter how hard things get don’t stop because you never know what might happen. If you feel like the universe is sending you a sign to give up, it’s not. It’s your mind tricking you into thinking that you are not good at it. Never stop.

· If you like something, experiment with it. It might just be your thing, it might just be something you were destined to do. You might turn out to be really good at it. Just like a fire starts with sparks and turns into a full flame, just like that you might do something temporarily which may turn into your forever

· It should truly make you happy. Remember don’t just do it because you see people around you doing it, do it because it makes you happy and you know that even in your saddest times when there is very little joy, you can always fall back on it

· Do it for you and because you want to. This is the most important point on this entire list. Do it because you are doing it for yourself not because your parents told you to or because your friends told you to.

· Don’t compare yourself. Everyone is a different person with different interests and a very different life. There is no use of thinking someone is better than you so you should not continue to pursue it because in the end practice makes perfect. Aspire to be your best not someone else.

I hope this blog inspires you to be something more in life and find your passion. I hope this motivates you. I hope you find that something that makes you happy.
